WHITESNAKE Frontman On UK's 'Loose Women'; Video Available

April 17, 2008

WHITESNAKE frontman David Coverdale was a guest yesterday (Wednesday, April 16) on the "trashy" midday UK chat show "Loose Women".

Watch video footage of his appearance below.

"Loose Women" is an ITV afternoon program in which a panel of four women discusses topical issues and interview celebrity guests before a studio audience. It airs on ITV and TV3 Ireland from Monday to Friday. The show was first broadcast on ITV in 1999. "Loose Women" can be compared to the American ABC daytime production "The View" which follows a similar format.

WHITESNAKE's Coverdale and Doug Aldrich (guitar) performed a special acoustic set last Thursday night (April 10) in front of an invite-only crowd at The Cutting Room in New York City to celebrate the release of the band's new album, "Good To Be Bad". Photos and a review can be found at PiercingMetal.

WHITESNAKE will release "Good To Be Bad" through SPV/Steamhammer in Germany on April 18, the rest of Europe on April 21 and in North America on April 22. In addition to the regular jewel-case version, a limited-edition two-disc set will contain an extra CD in a cardboard sleeve, as well as a poster, photocard and sticker.
